Post 3: My dream job

 

Well, I'm just entering my fourth year of college, I study visual arts so maybe it's a little obvious what I'll be in the not-so-distant future.

 

What could be my future work is divided into two possible paths, on the one hand, I would like to be an art teacher, maybe teach at some college or high school, I'd like to inspire my students to want to make art and to be able to guide them on the path of art. And on the other hand, I would just like to dedicate myself to being a good painter, to get my works to the museums, to make art talks. I know that being an artist implies an uncertain economic future, even more so in a country like Chile, however, I know that it is my passion, so I assume the risk

 

I would also like to go back to the past and reflect on what my dream jobs were back then. My first dream job was to be a florist. I wanted to have a flower shop and make beautiful floral arrangements because I loved flowers. Then with the entry of anime in my life, I wanted to work as a manga artist and create horror stories, as well as those of Junji Ito.

 

Maybe my previous words are not relevant to the future of my adult self, but time to time, I like to think about the dreams my little me never fulfilled.
